Legal guarantee of conformity

Every Bocane piece is handmade and is covered by the legal guarantee of conformity for 2 years from delivery (Romanian Government Emergency Ordinance no. 140/2021). The guarantee covers workmanship defects and products that do not match their description or your order. It does not cover the natural changes that come with wear and care.

If you notice an issue, write to us at office@bocane.ro with your order number and a few photos. We will look at it together and find a solution.

• Leather: scratches, creases, patina and softening that develop through use. They are part of the character of natural leather. The same goes for natural variations in texture and shade, or differences from the colours seen on screen.
• Stains and discolouration: colour transfer from clothing (for example denim) onto light-coloured leather; stains from water, oil, cosmetics, perfume or alcohol; fading due to prolonged sun exposure. Suede is especially sensitive to moisture and friction.
• Hardware: wear, scratching or fading of the plating through friction and use; oxidation from contact with moisture or sweat.
• Bags: deformation or loosening of handles and attachments due to loads beyond normal use; deformation due to improper storage.
• Wallets: deformation or stretching of compartments due to overfilling; wear on edges and folds through use.
• Watch straps and belts: wear from daily use, especially around the buckle and holes; natural creasing and stretching of the leather; contact with water and sweat.
• Alterations: modifications or repairs carried out by anyone other than Bocane.
