The oval cutout in the card pocket, inspired by the shape of a porthole, the window of a ship, also has the utility of allowing you to push the card with your finger, to access it easily.
The old identity card cannot be kept in this portcard.
Monogramming can be applied to the middle of the pocket without cutout.
